Inspiration.
Inspiration can come from anywhere. The simple daily moments, the beautiful scenery you pass on the way to work, a single word, or even a simple poem you stumbled across.
My inspiration for most of my projects comes from something I love, an experience, or an image I see.
My painting below was inspired by the hymn, "It Is Well". The hymn is one of my favorites and I wanted to paint a scenery that reflected the story behind the loved hymn.

The pattern set below was inspired by my love for penguins. Ever since I was little I always had a love for all the snowy creatures of Antarctica and the snowy tundras. From my love for penguins I based my entire project off of that.
